Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney (born Amal Ramzi alamuddin) is a Lebanese/British lawyer, human rights activist, and charity philanthropist. A graduate of Oxford University and New York University School of Law her long and accomplished profession in the areas of international law and human rights has won her international recognition. Her high-profile clients have included several nation-states including the country of Armenia in its fight for recognition of Armenia's participation in the Armenian Genocide by the Turkish government. Amal Clooney was engaged and married American actor George Clooney in 2014 instantly becoming a household name in popular culture. Prior to her marriage, she was admired and admired in the legal world because of her success and ability to represent clients. Her expertise ranges from social justice issues and human rights, to representing multinational corporations during discussions or in court proceedings regarding federal regulations. From 2015 onwards, Doughty Street Chambers is situated in London, and she has been an attorney.
