Sarah Rafferty
Sarah became bitten by the acting bug while still in the pre-school years. Her passion for acting started when her drama teacher spotted her running across his lawn trying to get ready for the field hockey game on time. He informed her that she could leave the practice to join Richard III's actors. Sarah discovered her love for acting and decided to double majoring in English and theater at Hamilton College. She studied abroad in Oxford as well as London in her senior years and received an honorary magnacum laude. After Hamilton, she went to Yale Drama School. She was encouraged to learn about the arts through both her parents. Her mother, who is the chairperson of the English Department of the Convent of the Sacred Heart Greenwich CT and her father who is a painter. The natural talent and education earned her a place in the world of television. As well as appearing in the USA Network's Suits where she plays the character Donna she's been featured in several TV series such as Law and Order Six Feet Under Brothers & Sisters Samantha Who? Without A trace CSI Miami Bones and feature films, such as Four Single Fathers, Falling For Grace. Sarah has also appeared in various stage productions including Gemini and As You Like It. Sarah has been an advocate for Alzheimer's Association since she began performing on television. Sarah was the host of the annual Sardi's event for three consecutive years, and also spoke at the event that was held in conjunction with the group in March. Sarah lives on both west and east coasts along with her husband and two daughters and regularly travels between the east and west coasts of Toronto for work.
